And that's the problem with social stuff, you can never make concrete plans. People don't get it, they just think you're flaky, so eventually they stop inviting you. And of course when you show up to something on a rare "good" day, they'll be offended that you didn't do the same for their event, but it's not that simple. We never know how it's going to be.
